The WWF estimates that 8 billion cigarette butts are littered in Australia each year. They are also the most common type of ocean rubbish and take at least 15 years to break down, leaching toxic chemicals into our oceans. No More Butts is a not for profit started by Shannon Mead that has a vision for a butt-free environment.
