Hello listeners! Welcome to a new year of true crime cases! We are so happy to have you joining us!
This week we are talking about the wrongful conviction of Jerry Hobbs. If you listened to our Juan Rivera episode, you might hear some familiar names. Jerry Hobbs was accused of killing his daughter and her friend in 2005. A grueling interrogation involving physical violence and manipulation ended with a false confession. It would not be until DNA testing found the real killer that justice would actually be served.
Make sure to check out The Innocence Project and the Center on Wrongful Convictions for more information on what is being done to help victims.
