Mirsad Solakovic survived a war in which 100,000 people died in the heart of Europe in the 1990s. Mirsad was just 13 years old when the Bosnian war devastated his life. Like the entire country, Mirsad's life was torn apart with his village, neighbours, family and friends divided and forced to fight. Put into concentration camps, beaten, tortured and starved, this is an incredible story of survival and escape.
