Alison Pena is an entrepreneur, public speaker, and resilience consultant. Alison Pena goes by the name Bad Widow, which stemmed from the heavy loss from her husband of nearly 25 years to pancreatic cancer.
Through her experience with grief Alison learned that her passion, in her own words, was to "live fearlessly in the face of death itself." We talk about the pursuits she goes after to revitalize herself, from singing in a cabaret to being bold on Bumble to find love again.
Alison shares the learnings that she's had when faced with loss, as well as the steps you can take to build your own resiliency.
