Quitting my full-time sales job was never a perfect, or linear, process. It took me about six months from making the decision to quit to my last day in the office. This week, we’ll talk about how I made that commitment, created my exit plan, and stuck to it!

I felt so much fear around quitting my job. As someone who values security, that fear could be paralyzing at times. By adjusting my mindset and deciding on what I personally needed to feel secure in a safety blanket, I was able to overcome that fear and really enjoy the last few months in my position.

We’ll also discuss the more practical aspects to preparing to quit your job. Building a business while you still have a full-time career is challenging, but it was so helpful to me to have work lined up for my business before my last day of work.

Keep in mind: there’s never going to be a perfect time to take the leap. I hope that you will use my experiences to learn from and jump in – you won’t regret it!
