The Importance of Empathy towards Mental Health, Inclusivity, and Art with Samantha Louise

Today’s episode is a very special one featuring one of my best friends and my favorite people, Samantha Louise Marett, the abstract artist behind Samantha Louise Designs and mental health advocate. Expect a lot of random laughs and a lot of deep dives into several *uncomfortable* topics that really equip us with tools and resources to be better humans.

We chat about her experience being diagnosed with bipolar and how this has transcended into the importance educating others about mental health, empathy and understanding when having difficult conversations, how to best show up for your self especially during these uncertain times, her upcoming collection called “Covered Up” in collaboration with sexual assault survivors, and the importance of voting with our dollars and creating spaces that support inclusivity and marginalized communities.
