On today's episode, I sat down with my friend Kerryn Sawyer, a Plant Based Nutrition Health Coach based out of Melbourne, Australia to talk all things plant based protein, abundant consumption, fiber and long-term health. When it comes to eating, my personal philosophy is that every one is built differently & has unique needs. While I personally thrive on a primarily plant based diet, I recognize that some people do really well eating significant amounts of animal protein. Do what FEELS good and allows you to live your best dang life, ok? With that being said, if you are consuming lots of animal protein, I encourage you to become mindful of where your meat is coming from...how are the animals treated? Where do they live? What are they fed? Animals are living beings just like we are and they deserve respect, humanity and care.
As often as you can, support local farms and places where you know FOR SURE the animals are treated with love and respect. Good for the body & the soul 💕
