Hey there, and welcome to the Empowered MS Warrrior podcast! My name is Sandy Roberts, a fellow MS warrior and the host. Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with MS? Do you wish there was a better way to manage multiple sclerosis besides taking DMD’s, and all those meds that give you terrible side effects? Are you looking for answers on how to help support your body so you can reduce/eliminate symptoms naturally?

I know how scary it can feel getting an MS diagnosis. I remember worrying what would happen to me, how I would take care of my family, and what my quality of life would be in the future. I’ve always been very independent and the possibility of losing that was my fuel and determination in finding a solution. Being told my body was attacking itself NEVER resonated with me. I just knew there had to be a better way, and I was going to find the answers!

I spent years taking a deep dive into nutrition by going back to school, and earning my BA in Nutrition Science, but I also learned a lot through my own personal experience of healing my body and eliminating my MS symptoms. I’ve learned the power of nutrition, mindset, lifestyle choices, and digestive health. This podcast will help you take away all the guess work - what to eat and WHY is a big part of that. This isn’t just another MS diet however, but real answers. What does EBV (Epstein-Barr) have to do with MS? How viruses, pathogens, toxins, and heavy metals all play a part in your MS. How to support and strengthen your immune system (you’re most important ally) in helping you heal naturally. Every week I’ll be answering the questions you’ve been asking yourself, plus information you may not have ever considered. So grab your favorite beverage (mine is wine :), and get ready to dive in.
