Kids and big emotions often go together like peanut butter and jelly. It’s part of the business of childhood and our teen years to figure out how to deal with our emotions. And, as parents we can be a help or a hinderance in that process. It isn’t always intuitive to know how to help kids with emotions—in fact we often want to avoid negative emotions for our kids.
