Dr. Veronica L. Hardy holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, Master of Social Work degree, and clinical social work licensure. She has multiple book publications including The Process of Grief: The Underrated Form of Self-Care (Workbook for Helping Professionals), academic journal articles focusing on racial equity in schools and child sex trafficking, as well as co-authored grants focusing on schools and trauma. She has served on professional and community boards including the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board (Vice Chair), United Way of Robeson County (Board and Executive Committee), and the Journal of Social Work Values and Ethics (Board of Copy Editors).
