Dr. Copeland is the co-founder of Pan-African Women’s Philanthropy Network (PAWPNet), a global association of African-descent and allied women leaders, donors, and activists of all backgrounds. She is also currently the Founder and Chair of the WISE Fund (Women Invested to Save Earth). Dr. Copeland serves on the board of advisors for the alternative energy company, Uncharted Power and in 2013 she received the “Hero for Health Award” for her dedication and commitment to the social justice field and outstanding achievements in the areas of leadership and research.
