Today, Jessica and I discuss our experience in cutting out our parents. We talk about how people probably look at us and our situations and think we are the bad people for putting up boundaries to protect our peace. Yes, they are our parents, but because they are our parents, it does not exclude them from general human decency.

UGH. This one is hard. This is probably the most vulnerable episode I've ever put out. I take a very honest look at my drinking habits and how I have always used alcohol to cope with my mental illness.

This week, I am discussing generational trauma and cycle breaking when it comes to myself and my children.

This week, I have my kids on and I gave them free range to discuss whatever they wanted to talk about. Because emotions and divorce are very prevalent in their life right now, they chose this discuss. All I'm going to say is, watch out, because my kids are setting the bar high for all y'all.
