Do you ever feel like life is passing you by?
That you’re just sitting on the sidelines waiting for life to happen while other people live their lives to the fullest? No matter what you do, you feel as if you’re not in control, that someone else is in the “driver’s seat” maneuvering you through all of life’s most difficult situations. Life is full of adventure that is scary but also exciting; in order to fully enjoy life, you have to conquer your fears in order to find your way back to the “driver’s seat.”
Sitting in the “passenger seat” of your own life for too long is a very dangerous game. Letting someone have control over every little aspect of your life gives the person in control too much power, creating strains on the foundations of your relationship with them. If you let someone, anyone, have power over you for too long, you begin to lose the most important thing in your life: your self-identity. So in order to get out of the “passenger seat” and back into the “driver’s seat” of your life, you need to recognize that you are no longer in control and make time for things that make you happy.
