In episode 48 we review an opera, a musical, and a series of short plays. Fist up is Emma Rice's bold new take on Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld at the ENO, followed by the first professional revival in over 50 years of Jerry Hermans' Broadway classic Mame starring the inimitable Tracie Bennett, and finally a series of four short plays by the boundary pushing British playwright Carol Churchill, Glass.Kill.Bluebeard.Imp, staged at The Royal Court Theatre. We also have a Top-Tip for those looking for something to book this Christmas, a Mame inspired cocktail, and we discus our top five Disney films!
