Travel Talks

Today I'm joined by Hannah Rankin, former IBO super-welterweight champion boxer and classical bassoonist. Hannah's unique position as a professional boxer and bassoonist has allowed her to travel the world performing in a wide variety of countries, to a range of different audiences. In this episode we get an insight into the life of a boxer fighting abroad, what it is like to live in India to teach music and which uncommon country's cuisine Hannah thinks is her favourite in the world.

There were so many interesting stories from this episode of Travel Talks, from learning about the unison clapping in Poland, how much time boxers give themselves to acclimatise to fighting abroad and what it is like to meet the Dalai Lama.
