On February 8, 1977, 43-year-old Tony Kiritsis walked into the office of mortgage broker Dick Hall and WIRED THE BARREL OF A SAWED OFF SHOT GUN TO HALL’S NECK. This "dead man's line" meant that if a policeman shot Kiritsis the shotgun would go off and shoot Hall in the head. The same would happen if Hall tried to escape. Kiritsis called the police from Hall's office and told them that he had taken Hall as a hostage. Through archival footage and interviews with people who were there, we watch first-hand the terror of this 3-day standoff between Kiritsis and cops.
