On this episode I'm asking why and how the first Nigerian Coup Happened in January 15 1966?

I decided to look for answers myself. I pulled from authors like Max Siollun among a few others and later reached out to a friend, today's guest, Eyilola Ajibola. We exchanged resources and decided to have this conversation on the podcast with the goal of answering some of our questions on record and piecing together the seismic events that have shaped the country we see today.

In order to understand the motives for the January 15 1966 coup, we start on the political climate in 1960 by discussing the 3 major political (also regional parties), who formed them ? And what informed their ideologies and alliances?
