It's conversations like this that remind me to step back and say thank you. I have had some amazing experiences as a doctor in the high profile market, and the friendship I am honored to have to this day with this Rock 'n Roll legend came from one of those.

Howard Scott.

He wrote some of the most iconic songs in American cultural history including Spill The Wine, Slipping Into Darkness, Why Can't We Be Friends, and of course, (who doesn't know) Low Rider. He plays lead guitar and still tours (when able due to COVID) with his band Low Rider Band, once known as WAR. We talk about everything from what it was like writing the songs we all know and sing in the shower, to social and racial injustice of the 60's and how it parallels what we are experiencing today in 2021, to getting vaccinated, and how we first met and worked together.

Howard is anything BUT uncommon, which is exactly why I had to have him come and tell some of his True Stories.
