Happy New Year, everybody!!

WOW! I haven't been this excited to watch the change of the year since I got my first Mickey Mouse wrist watch as a kid, and waited up until 12:00 to see his hands come together above his head at the stroke of midnight - the beginning of the new year.

2020 kicked. our. ASS! ....but, it also brought forth a ton of awesomeness, too.

This first part of January is what I like to call "healthcare season." The time when we re-evaluate our patterns, our habits, our strengths and weaknesses, and make some solid changes. Well, with all of the stress that is still following us into this year with the current attack by Trump extremist groups in DC today, I had to call in the big guns. MY big guns ...one of my mentors and colleagues who taught me everything I know about stress, cortisol, and optimizing body function by controlling and removing it: Dr. Evan Mladenoff.

From 1995 - 2004 Dr. Mladenoff was a game-day doc with the NFL Kansas City Chiefs, where he provided protocols for game time preparedness including Applied Kinesiology, Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, and Chiropractic Medicine. He also is a professional lecturer to multidisciplinary groups providing license renewal programs for chiropractors, dentists, medical doctors, podiatrists and physical therapists. He has published numerous articles on the athlete under stress for Applied Kinesiology, Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, Sports Chiropractic and Nutrition, and is a world-class expert and authority on what Cortisol does to the body.

In this episode, we talk about ALL of that - and how to actually fix it! ...Plus a few juicy stories of what it was like to be on the field taking care of the biggest NFL guys in the game.
