In this week's episode, we chat with Jasmine Jones founder and COO of Cherry Blossom Intimates. When her grandmother was battling breast cancer, Jasmine Jones recognized the challenge that existed for breast cancer survivors in finding post-mastectomy prosthetics that matched their lifestyles and their skin tone. Inspired by her grandmother’s experience, Jasmine partnered with Dr. Regina Hampton and founded Cherry Blossom Intimates, the first of its kind breast health facility and intimates boutique. The store creates custom post-mastectomy breast prosthetics and fits women for bras in cup sizes A through N. They’ve created a safe space where every woman, no matter her bra size or her breast cancer stage can feel beautiful and shop for intimates.
Jasmine speaks on the topics of entrepreneurship and modern womanhood. Her talks have spanned the globe, including Dubai where she led a fireside chat with businesswomen from around the world and Israel where she spoke at the Forbes Global Women's Conference.
Jasmine served her community as Miss District of Columbia USA 2016 and as Miss Black District of Columbia USA. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship from Trinity Washington University in Washington D.C. Most recently, Jasmine was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Retail and E-Commerce category for the innovative retailing methods seen at Cherry Blossom Intimates. Jasmine speaks French fluently and is on track to touch all 7 continents in 2019.
