Making History
“The 25th of January was originally police day to honor and commemorate police in their uprising against British colonists. So the irony is that the police or the regime after they kicked the British out, is that they became the colonists. They became imperialist, power-hungry, bloodthirsty bastards. That's just like what you have in Nigeria, what you have in America, what you have in France, it started against police brutality and for the interior minister to go. But then it just swelled and grew and expanded and multiplied into like, let's get the bastards out. People wanted the downfall of the regime.”
