From his “humble” beginnings as a dragon slayer he quickly forms a crusading army to free the lands of bretonnia from the Greenskins (though the Norscans, Beastmen and Undead make an appearance).. We cast our eyes back to the prehistory of Bretonnia and look at the exodus from the Southlands that led to the land's population and the challenges they faced there… mostly in shades of green. We continue our cultural introduction to Bretonnia with a view of their relations with other human nations and the Wood Elves of Athel Loren. We then turn to the seas to look at their naval power, ports and their claim to be the greatest sailors in the Old World. In this our final episode on the warriors of Chaos we take a dive into the tabletop version of the army. This episode we focus our attention on the dread Changer of Ways, Tzeentch and his love of corruption and subversion of the status quo. Continuing our dive into the chaos gods and their champions, it is the turn of the martial blood god Khorne. We start with an existential conversation on what drives mortals to become his champions and their violent relationship with other champions, using the former Knight of the Blazing Suns, Slaurith, as a prime example. What does it take to become a Warrior of the Dark Prince? We look at the type of culture that exists within the Hordes of Slaanesh and their Slaangor Beastmen allies. Two magic items are used to illustrate the corruption of Slaanesh that may lead many to the path of Excess. We then veer north and describe a number of Slaaneshi Chaos Champions. We start with the overly eager Chaos Zar Surtha Lenk as he invades the Empire and lays siege to the Wolfenburg.
