Pandemic Noodles!

We talk about the history of noodles! Who invented noodles? Italian professor Dr Christine Ristaino joins us. Christine has been teaching a class with a colleague about noodles comparing Chinese and Italian noodles. They usually bring the students to noodle restaurants. When the pandemic hit, they had to teach the class completely online. The students had to cook their own noodles and share with their family and friends. The students had to make do with what they had. Hear how the the students and their families started cooking together. We hear a great poem, by one of her students about noodles and connecting with family.
