North of 60

In 1992, a show unlike any other debuted on CBC, and for the next five years it changed Canadian television forever. North of 60 continues to be popular to this day for its emphasis on Indigenous representation and issues. Its impact is also felt to this day in the many Indigenous television shows that now exist.
