This episode marks the last outing for We Love Movies on Spin 1038. Gordon and the team (Andy McCarroll, Olivia Fahy, Chris Wasser) bow out with a nostalgiac look back at the making of Ireland's longest running radio show dedicated to movies. This final programme also features Jonathan McCrea, whom started We Love Movies with Gordon, plus old cohorts Rory Cashin and Brian Lloyd.
To mark the release of the trailer for Steven Spielberg's latest film The Fablesmans, Gordon, Andy and Chris discuss some of the Spielberg's best and most under-rated films. The rom-rom Ticket to Paradise starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts is up for review, plus the We Love Movies team chat about the closing chapter in the Clerks series.
Michael Flatley's unintentional comedy Blackbird is up for review, plus the thriller Fall along with Amazon Prime's Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Gordon and the team also discuss Dwayne Johnson's screening of Black Adam for marketing executives and all the drama surrounding Olivia Wilde and Shia LaBeouf.
