Band of Brothers | Why don't aircraft mechanics stand with each other?

We’ve seen instances of high visibility jobs, such as aircrew, stand up for each other and plant their feet when circumstances arise that antagonize them. For aircraft mechanics though, it’s not as present. Some would argue that they don’t stand up for each other and would sooner vote with their feet than band together. Why is that? Today, we share some opinions to maybe spark a discussion to answer this question, and maybe spark an initiative to band together.
