We are starting something new this week (stay tuned until the end to find out what) but Isaiah is doing more of the same, making drastic and oddly refreshing prophecies. Although apples do play a small role in today's discussion of planting and harvesting, pain and grief are what's being sowed and reaped. Befitting the week of St. Valentine's Day, we pause to wonder where our soul lives - our hearts, or our inward parts... no, not those parts.
