Wisdom is perishing and we have a new take on the axe conundrum. Who is Yahweh threatening when he talks about victimizing the innocent, shame, and the burdens of the animals of the south? Global warming, tongues of devouring fire, and horses made of ghosts (or ghost horses?) confound and confuse... but the Psalms remind us how majestic Yahweh's name is in all the earth.
