In The Changing Room with Edie Hu

Listed in 2019's top 50 world’s most adventurous open water women (an annual list of audacious women who have performed courageously well in open bodies of water) this week I bring you, Edie Hu! Edie is one of the most accomplished open-water swimmers in Hong Kong. In late 2018, she became the first woman since 1976 to swim around Hong Kong Island, raising money for Splash, a charity that gives foreign domestic workers and underprivileged children a chance to learn how to swim for free. Edie has big plans to take on some of the world's biggest open water swims, so look out post-covid world!
In this episode, we discuss being adventurous and standing out from the crowd, as well as what exactly is needed to undertake a 12-hour swim!
