About (In)equity in Mathematical Learning
This podcast opens the conversation on some of the inequities students face in our current education system. Emily Creed, a future math educator and student, gives thought to what we all can do to improve our students' mathematical experiences. The two main topics explored are teacher expectations & the discourse on innate ability, and how we can use these to better our students learning. In addition, issues with our current curriculums are also discussed.
