Why won't He Reveal Himself?

We have gone through a number of arguments in our attempt to make a case for the existence of God.
Ultimately, it's left to you to decide which side you fall on after presenting you with evidence.
However, there's one question that comes up often after exploring a number of concepts like we have in the past few weeks, and it's this: If there really is a God, why hasn't he revealed himself, why hasn't there been a significant event in time that has occurred to prove without a doubt, the existence of a surpeme being?
