When you’re enjoying your breakfast, lunch or dinner, do you ever stop and wonder where does your food come from? How does it get around the world? This week on NowThis Kids, host Naomi Wadler is talking about farming and why it’s important that everyone has access to quality, nutritious food.

We speak to Chander Payne who founded Urban Beet, which offers marginalized kids in the community the opportunity to learn all about farming. Chander tells us how the future of farming involves helping families across the world access delicious fruits and vegetables.

Not every community has a quality grocery store nearby, so how can we combat this? Correspondent Alejandro Alba explains urban farming and how it can help those communities.
