How California Rallied Volunteers during the Pandemic
In celebration of National Volunteer Week and the anniversary of Californians for All, Director Dave Smith shares about the founding of this California Volunteers initiative at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to mobilize volunteers to support food banks and other overburdened nonprofits. A year later, it has achieved over 1 million volunteer hours logged and 600,000 meals served.
