Kick! Punch! It's all in the mind...including that song, that's almost 100% stuck in your head now. We're kicking the year off by talking PaRappa the Rapper! I always wanted to play this one back in the day, but it was always rented when I'd go to Blockbuster. I finally gave it a chance over the holidays, and while I'm 100% convinced it was written and designed by people on drugs, it didn't take away from the fact that it's charming, hilarious, and pretty damned fun.
The guy that started this stupid show with me back in 2018, my buddy Chris, gave me a call to rap (see what I did there?) about PaRappa. He even spit some funky lyrics himself, and we had a great time talking about one of the original PlayStation's flagship titles.
And before we crack crack crack the egg into the bowl, I slap together another edition of the 'Remember The Game? Infamous Intro'!
This week, someone asks if we'll ever do another guest hosted episode like the Majora's Mask show from last year. How do I decide which games I'm gonna play for the podcast out of the hundreds (literally) of suggestions I get from everyone? And what's the deal with "purple monkey dishwasher"?
Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 old school rhythm games: Um Jammer Lammy, Bust-A-Groove, and Space Channel 5.
