On this episode I'm joined by one of my childhood hunting and fishing buddies Mike Squires and one of his buddies who is now my new buddy, Darren Hudock.
Mike and Darren met by chance as they were trapping coyotes on the same farm. Soon after that talked turned into hunting them. Then it wasn't long and they were both running some of the best infrared rigs money can by to hunt coyotes ( That's usually how it goes, ask my wife)
And man have they been putting them down. It seemed like it was everyday they were posting pictures of another successful hunt. So with that I kindly reached out to them and invited myself on one of there hunts. Ha! Thanks guys!
Now- I've been outspoken in the past when it comes to hunting tools, and tactics in the technology driven industry. It's quite the conundrum for me. On one hand I'm of the mindset "enough is enough" I think that technology has taken over for good woodsmanship and pure passion. Where does it end!? BUT... When it comes to predators and invasive species like feral hogs, BRING ON THE TECHNOLOGY BABY!
I think this episode is just the beginning of the discussion of predator hunting and technology in general. Be sure to let me know your thoughts!
