On July 16, 1989, 18-year-old Kaitlyn Arquette was found murdered--shot to death--in her car near her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When it was learned that Kaitlyn was the daughter of famous teen-horror novelist Lois Duncan--famous for her books like “I Know What You Did Last Summer”,-- the murder seemed like it could be the plot of one of Duncan’s books.
