January 10, 2013, Kendrick Johnson gets up, gets dressed and arrives at school as usual, he's a student at Lowndes High School in Valdosta Georgia. Kendrick’s morning goes smoothly and without instance, but then when it is time for Kendrick to be in his third block class, a weightlifting class, he is a no show, Kendrick is marked absent. That night around 10pm Kendrick's mom started to get worried, her son should have been home by now, and he had not texted to say he was going to be late, something very unusual for him.
