Marcia Carr is a woman of many talents - a long standing club DJ and radio presenter and the producer of "Everything Good" - a regular presentation on London station Rinse.fm, and also the curator and director of the all-vinyl, female DJ squad "Girlz B Like".
Spirits of Rhythm is a monthly showcase of the best new underground mixes from DJs around the world. It is part of our pledge to support the 2019 Annie Mac DJ #EqualisingMusic campaign, showcasing more of the women who love creating and playing underground house music as much as we do.
The name of this podcast is an homage to the legendary Azuli Records, specifically Azuli N.55 - "Spirits of Rhythm - Music" released in 1999.
