We are back with season 2 of the Little Things in life Podcast. It has been two long months without the pod so here we are! This week’s episode is a reflection on the last 2 months, recent events that have raised discussion such as the whole Dominic Cummings scandal and Tiger King. Remember them? Tom has been doing 10,000 steps in his garden every day. Then we get into the questions, random questions and neither know what the other is going to ask. Episode 1 of the isolation tapes!! It sounds like Katie is a feature on Toms radio show, but it’s better than nothing! We follow up in the discussion of last week’s question. The little things in life section this week is about the Llandundo Mountain Goats, some may say making Llandudno a “Goat Town” & we discuss the clap for the NHS every Thursday at 8pm, a lovely, wholesome atmosphere in these uncertain times. This week’s question, what makes us beautiful, what is beauty? Is Love Island damaging for people to watch? The cosmetic industry, are they preying on vulnerable people and focusing on their insecurities? Is it part of our human nature to criticise? Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. We get planning for the isolation tapes, Skype is our saviour, you won’t be without your weekly dose of us don’t worry! This week talk about how we have been spending time inside isolating & how we are finding it, including Toms chef skills making excellent fried eggs…. Anyway, this week’s episode focuses on vegetarianism and veganism, prominent topics in everyday life, but is there a stigma? The documentary ‘The Game Changers’ has really changed things for Tom, will it impact Katie as much? Katie spotting chairs flying over a fence in Platts fields, is it really a surprise?

Episode 4, we are back again! University has been put online and it is decided we are full time podcasters, getting the ball rolling before it becomes the norm for everyone to start podcasts!! We discuss your thoughts on the previous episode. This week’s episode is interesting to talk about and down to the individual to answer, but it is a stimulating topic to get you thinking. Did you know there was a difference between plastic and cosmetic surgery? We discuss what we have been up to & what has changed with corona virus being present, including Toms little words of wisdom. Look after yourselves & keep listening to the podcast for a bit of positivity! BAAPs gets us giggling too.

Episode 3.. how have we managed it? We the introduce of the little things in life section, to talking about self-isolation and discussion of your biggest fears. The discussion of Katie bleaching mugs triggers Tom as per usual, it doesn’t take much. To the topic of this week, do you ever think you were born in the wrong decade?
