#19: To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar (with our special guest, Darryl Foster!)

At only 5 years old, Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is the newest album we reviewed so far, coming in at number 19 on the Rolling Stone list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.   As relevant as it was the year it was released (and perhaps even more so now), this is an album which covers a multitude of issues.

Our good friend,  Darryl Foster, has agreed to join us once again, just 2 episodes after helping us tackle album #17.  Darryl brings his experience and insight to the conversation as we tackle many issues including, but not limited to, racial tension, explicit language, drugs, slavery, body issues, the justice system... just to name a few!

We've chosen to flip the switch on our explicit content warning, primarily based on the music in the background, but also our frank conversation. Thanks for your consideration!
