Douglas Moo is Chair of the Committee on Bible Translation, who are responsible for translating and revising the NIV translation. He is a New Testament scholar who taught more than twenty years at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and served as Blanchard Professor of New Testament at the Wheaton College from 2000 to 2023. In this episode, Doug discusses different approaches to Bible translations, the philosophy of the NIV translation committee, and whether Bible translations really matter.
