Rueben George in Convo with Pam Palmater

Episode 97 is a special show where I get to share extended clips from Rueben George's interview with me on his own podcast show! Rueben is from the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and in addition to being a Sun Dance Chief - has also been a driving force behind his Nation’s revitalization of language, culture, spirituality and law.

Rueben hosts a new livestream series for Sacred Ecology – a documentary film project about the importance of cultural preservation and biodiversity. The series is called Truth. Family. Culture. Health where Rueben interviews Indigenous elders, cultural leaders, and environmental activists.

You can find his show on Facebook, YouTube and on the Sacred Ecology website. BUT my podcast only shares parts of the show. You have to listen to Rueben's show to catch the extended version which includes a lengthy question and answer session from some of those who were in the audience.
