Two Young People's Thoughts On Today's World (1) - Paul D. Lowe & Deeksha Sahoo And Yash Bhatia

World Game-Changers
World Game-Changers

Paul gives returning young guest, Deeksha Sahoo, the reins to talk to another young returning guest, Yash Bhatia, about how they – as young people – can help to make a better world and how they can leave the world a better place. These are two young people talking to each other peer to peer about things young people feel are the problems facing the world and how they can be tackled.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • My three aspects to make the world a better place would be; Sustainability – a good balance, Equality – everyone being on the same level, and Nature – we live in nature and we need to work on it.
  • It’s in our hands to make the world a better place. We need to raise awareness and teach each other how to make the world a better place, like looking after the environment.
  • There’s not much most of us can go about the troubles in Afghanistan but raise awareness, raise money to help and tell the people in power to try to help the people in Afghanistan and ask them to help them.
  • Gender equality and racism are two big problems in the world and we need to make a change. As teenagers we need to push the messages across that we support gender equality and anti-racism. But not with violence, which leads nowhere, we should do it in a civilised manner.

BEST MOMENTS

‘For the world to be a better place everything should be balanced.’

‘Teenagers are the future of our planet.’

‘We need to help each other out, stay strong together.’

‘Unity starts with you. Organisations are only as strong as its individual people.’
