Rising cost of funerals 'soul destroying for people'

According to Fanagan’s Funeral directors the cost of a traditional religious funeral in Ireland can range from €3,500 to €8,500. 

TD Michael Collins is now calling for the reinstatement of the funeral grant which was abolished in 2014.
