This is the story of Lucy Kelson played by Sandra Bullock. Lucy is a lawyer in New York City who has a strong moral compass regarding environmental law, historic preservation and pro bono causes. George Wade is played by Hugh Grant and he is your billionaire real estate developer, charming womanizing playboy and his business is in an ongoing clash with Lucy over the destruction of the Coney Island Community Center. George Wade however is in need of a Chief Counsel and finds that Lucy, along with being an extremely talented lawyer is fantastic at making decisions for him. George hires Lucy under the pretense that he will fund her charity initiatives AND save the Coney Island Community Center… obviously when two beautiful people are that charming and always around each other… sparks… will… fly…
