In today's pregnancy JSJ meditations, I practice a JSJ self-care hold that releases stress and tension that accumulates in our bodies during pregnancy. In general, this hold helps ground us and helps us feel the relief of mental and physical stress. This JSJ self-care hold also helps aid in harmonizing our reproductive organs and reproductive functions. This simple position is a major "intersection" of many other JSJ flows and is a simple, yet powerful hold to practice during pregnancy. Today's episode is short, simple, and informal. As always, I bring a focus to our breath exhalations. We also practice releasing muscle tension in our face and shoulder areas. I love this JSJ self-care hold because it is very simple and I can practice sitting, laying down, or even standing up when necessary. This is one of my go-to's during pregnancy, especially if I'm needing to feel grounded in my body, free in my mind, and connected with baby easily and quickly.
