Eliza Reid is the First Lady of Iceland. However, I know her from twenty years ago, when we were friends living in the same university dorm.
Clearly, Eliza’s life has taken twists and turns, so I wanted to talk to her about how to jump into a whole new kind of life–which is what she’s done by learning a language and culture and starting over in a different country.
We also talk about Eliza’s new book called Secrets of the Sprakkar: Iceland’s Extraordinary Women and How They Are Changing the World, and what we may be able to learn from Iceland.
