Their original guitarist/songwriter tragically committed suicide shortly after Hey Jealousy became a hit for the band, which he was already kicked out of by the A&M at the label due to his heavy drinking. Forgive our memories…it was 1993. We knew someone important had died. Also, we were like 11 at the time.
