Ep006 - Your Favorite Weapon by Brand New

For those complaining the podcast doesn't have enough drama, do we have an episode for you! Okay, so maybe it's not as much drama as there ever was between Brand New and Taking Back Sunday, but let's just say our feelings for Brand New and their debut album Your Favorite Weapon are complicated.

• Universal Warehouse fire of 2008 - For those that aren’t aware, film and tape is suuuuuper flammable. 
• Referenced and incredibly well written Stereogum article
• Album Sales - Prior to 2011 reissue, it had sold over 315,000. So, not Gold (500,000). 
• Lyric count of Failure By Design vs Seventy Times 7 - Not counting the repeated lyrics of chorus’, Failure has 284 words and Seventy has 382. For comparison, blink-182’s The Party has 361. Also, for comparison Blake’s wordiest song he ever wrote has 179 words (what a slacker). 
• Blake's not completely crazy - While putting the episode together, he came across this image of the original artwork with the title of Soco Amaretto Lime mispelled, but can't find any documentation of the typo on the internet.
