Welcome to our episode on viticulture and grape growing. With every good winery there is a great vineyard behind it. This episode we deconstruct Growth Stages and the life cycle of a vine, topography, and irrigation. We discuss how and when winemakers need to be in contact with the vineyards as well as needing to know as much about the vine as they do the fermentation. We attempt to answer the quest on why a vineyard might be planted where and how it is, as well as some locations that you might not want to plant a vineyard. I hope you enjoy it .
